Trick or Treat!

Declan was up late on Saturday and was a little bit moody on Sunday. I know that is hard to believ, but he was :-) My mom came down to visit us and bring Declan a Halloween treat. We went to lunch and Trader Joe's with her. He was so excited to see her. I swear he is so obsessed with his Cyn Cyn!

Declan actually took a late nap (he has dropped his second nap recently) but was still a little cranky. We were going to go and see the Nau's, but didn't think The Dew was up for it. I even debated taking him out, but Jason said we had to and he was right. We dressed Declan back up and loaded him up in the Cozy Cart and headed out to get some candy. He LOVED it!!! He had the best time! It was such a nice night with our sweet family. I also absolutely love our neighborhood and just don't know when I will be ready to leave the city!

It was such a great weekend with family and friends!!!

Halloween/Football Fun At The Brigman's House

There were sippy cups galore...this cracked me up for some reason. By the way...that ugly coozie was NOT mine!
Yummy Food!

I'm so in love with these two!

Abby and Rylan

He loved this golf club! Future pro golfer? I'm good with that :-)

Friends!

Sari and Zac had all of us over on Saturday and we had a blast! We dressed the kids up and let them play together and they all seemed to have a great time. It was so fun to see all of their different little personalities. We are all so lucky to have beautiful and healthy children! What a fun time!!!

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkin when we got home from school on Friday! Declan was really into it!

I Just Can't Help It...

Smile!
Really, mom?!

Fake laughing...to make me laugh...and it works!

What?

I find myself constantly snapping picture after picture of Declan and can't seem to stop it! One because he is so damn cute and two because I want to capture every moment and wish that I could freeze time. I'm sorry if it is annoying, but I suppose if it bothers some of you, you will just stop reading the blog. Ha ha!

There is just not much going on in our day to day lives right now. Wood's World is pretty boring right now, but that is not always a bad thing :-)

All Done!

Declan is talking so much! He repeats everything...this could be trouble. The other day I asked him if he wanted his apple juice and he said "apple?" Then on Friday when I picked him up from Ms. Jeannie's he wanted to look at a tree in her yard. I told him what it was and he repeated "tee." When we got to Jeannie's this morning he pointed out the window and yelled "tee!" It is so much fun to watch him take everything in and how much he is learning. I am loving watching him learn. I know this is very developmentally typical, but I work with children all day long that are developmentally delayed and a few that are completely non-verbal, so to see our son hitting these milestones daily is amazing to me. It also makes me count my blessings and gives me even more motivation to work with my babies at school and push those early interventions. Here is a cute video of Declan saying all done and fake sneezing. He is so funny!

Hey Mama, Rock me

Declan loves to take Jason's phone and listen to music. He likes to listen to music anythime, actually. He also likes to pick up Jason's phone or any object that resembles a phone and pretend he is talking to someone. "Hey," he says and walks around the house. He looks just like his Dad the way he holds the phone! He is such a sponge!!! Here are two videos that are too cute not to share. He already dances better than I do, but that's not saying much :-) Ha ha!

Our Little Explorer

I love this picture! His hair is growing so fast after it was just cut and the big scrape on his head. He is ALL boy!
Walking around with his dad's grilling tools.

Yay! He loves to clap for himself. He knows how cute he is already. T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!

This one cracks me up! Petting Dixon while his pees. These two are definitely very fond of each other...as long as Declan keeps dropping food for him :-)

Declan loves to play outside as soon as we get home from our long day. He walks around the backyard picking up everything and bringing to me as he babbles. It is so fun watching him explore and take everything in. He also anxiously awaits the arrival of his dad. Anytime he sees or hears a car he says "Da Da?" This little boy LOVES his dad!

Burt's=Tradition

We had our annual trip to Burt's yesterday. We were going to go next weekend, but we all had off on Monday, so my sister suggested that we go ahead and go and beat the crowd. Patty Planner is always right! We made it to Burt's parked easily, played in the pumpkin patch, picked out pumpkins, went on the hayride and beat the crowd! The weather was beautiful and we all had a blast. Declan tripped and landed on his face before we even left for Burt's...I think he gets his coordination from me :-) He was a trooper! He skipped his naps for the day and was happy as ever. He LOVES being with his cousins, aunt , and Cyn Cyn. It was a very special day!!!
