Just Because....

Bathtime is fun and he is so cute playing in the tub :-)

"Dada Wook"

 Love this one...
 So cute!
He had that smile the entire time!
 Dirt!  Yay!

Love Jason's reaction in this one!
How much do they look alike?!  My VERY handsome boys!

Jason worked all weekend and of course we missed him being home with us.  Declan was walking around the house and calling for his Dad.  He said with his sad face...."Dada wook," and I told him yes, that Dada was working.  Then he started saying "shoe" and "bye bye," "Dada."  I called Jason and asked if we could come and see him.  How could I not?!  The boy wanted to see his Dad!    He has absolutely has no fear and loved playing in the dirt and riding on the tractors with Jason.   I took a ton of pictures of course, but here are a few.

Saturday In The Park....

 Picnic time :-)
Lollipops! Yay!  Declan apparently did not want his picture taken.
They loved the nature center!
Yeah...this bucket was filled with water (notice his pants above).  Turned my head for a second and he was in it.
 Loved the water!
 Butt hammocks!

Beautiful weather hit Georgia again and we definitely took advantage of it.  My mom and I took Declan, Kara, Owen, and Gavin out to enjoy the beautiful weather.  First stop was the playground, then a picnic, onto the Chattahoochee Nature Center, and ended at Pop and Cyn Cyn's with pinata fun.  The pinata is a little random, but my parents brought back some goodies (like they always do) from their trip to Mexico.  It was a long and fun day.  Declan maybe napped for 30 minutes, but was a happy camper.  My niece and nephews are 3 of the most well behaved children I have ever been around. They have the best personalities and are so sweet. My sister and brother-in-law are sure doing something right!  It was such a fun day!  I'm very lucky to live so close to my family and get to see them all of the time.

60 Degrees in February!!!

We had a nice little family date in the park this weekend.  It was crowded, but fun!  We packed a cooler and played half the day away!  So nice to be out in the sunshine with my family.  Absolutely perfect day!

 Hanging out
 My boys playing
Of course he found a girl!
Had to bring the Cozy Coupe
 Playing ball
 Checking it out
 Taking in the sunshine
Having "hack" and "ju"

18 Months

The DEW was 18 months on the 11th!  Wow!  I took him to his doctor's appointment after work.  He is 50% across the board.  The doctor did comment about how he was obviously eating well, ha ha!  He is right where he should be and a little further along with his speech.  He is saying 2-3 word phrases and talking up a storm!  We are also having a lot of tantrums.  I swear...my job and background has prepared me so much to be a Mom when it comes to this stuff.  Declan has no idea what types of behaviors I deal with all day long and his don't even come close.

He is attached to me at the moment....definitely at the stage where he LOVES his Mama and tolerates his Dada.  I'm okay with that for now.  I will enjoy it while I can.

Throwing sand out of Jason's truck.
 LOVES sand!
Likes it in his hair :-)

 Busted lip....
 Frozen washcloth to help it.
 Hanging out with Sidney

He had some guy time with our friend Sidney and Jason outside building a ramp and playing in their trucks.  It was all fun until Declan figured out how to open the truck door and fell out on his face.  He was saved by Sidney's phone (which shattered) and came out with only a busted lip.  I think it freaked Jason and Sidney out more than Declan.  He only cried for a second and was furious when Jason brought him inside to eat.  He is definitely ALL boy!

The Gogo Family

Out of all the toys they wanted the lotion....
 Sharing...kind of :-)
 How cute is she?!
Such a sweet and happy little girl!
Declan is playing while Cori drinks his juice.
They pulled the chairs out of the playroom to hang out.  Too cute!!!

Declan and I had a fun play date at the Gogo's house today.  Nicole and I both teach children with ASD for the same county.  I met her and we had an instant connection and have been friends ever since.  I do not get to see her much because of our crazy schedules, but today was so nice and we need to do it more often.  They have the cutest little girl, Cori (a little over a month older than The DEW), and baby Hope will be here in June!  It was such a fun day and Declan had a blast with Cori!  He has been walking around the house saying "Gogo!"  Love you guys!

Jump!

 Climbing!

 Playing with chalk
 Laughing at his Dad
Oh how I love these two!
 So fun!
He was playing with 3 little girls...or should I say flirting

 All smiles!
We took Declan to Hippo Hop today!  It is an indoor playground with lots of bouncy things (moonwalks) and a lot of other things for him to play on and do.  He was in heaven.  I was a nervous wreck about him getting knocked down or getting hurt, but that little boy can hold his own.  He had so much fun and loved running around all over the place.  He loved playing with the other kids too.  I love spending the weekend with my boys more than anything.  They are my world!
