And it begins...

Potty training that is! Declan went to the bathroom at school on Friday and pooped for me at home that night. He really had no interest after that the rest of the weekend. Well.... I picked him up from school today and he had gone 4 times and then he went for me when we got home! Yay! I think he is finally ready! We will be working on it here, but I'm not forcing it! I potty train my kiddos at school, but Declan has been way more challenging:). Wish us luck!

These Are A Few Of Our Favorite Things!

These are a few staples that we have to have on hand for Declan these days. Apparently he eats everything at school (they have a chef who serves them home cooked meals daily), but that is not the case at home. I keep trying to introduce new foods, but he has no interest. Jason is way better at getting him to try new things. Believe me, the kid has not missed a meal:).

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are usually eaten for one meal daily(his school is peanut free). He has to have his "gummies," "tube," and "yogurt juice" too. He is also obsessed with grape juice! At least calcium isn't a problem, right? Good thing we have vitamins! Ha!

Madison and Emma Turn 3!!!

And of course we were there to celebrate their BIG day with them:). They were so sweet and so appreciative of their gifts. Declan had so much fun seeing and playing with his friends. I swear I took a lot more pictures, but apparently not! I think I was too busy catching up with my sweet friends! It was a fun day!

Love

I had such a nice 4 day weekend with my boys, but especially with Jason. I am so in love with my husband and feel so lucky to be his wife. He took my mom out to eat with us on Friday, we had a date night on Saturday, a nice breakfast today (just the 2 of us)and then he was the world's best Uncle tonight. He didn't even complain once. He does things like this a lot, but I think they go unnoticed and should be appreciated by me more. I have been a bit hormonal and out of whack with my thyroid and hormone levels all off and Jason has been so patient and loving as I take him along on this roller coaster of emotions. I think I have been spending too much time lately being critical and controlling rather than grateful and appreciative. It is not always perfect around the Wood house, but a lot of the time it is, and this was one of those weekends. Thanks for putting up with me lately, Jace. I know it hasn't been easy! I love you more than you know!

Cousin Sleepover

We had the pleasure of having our niece and nephews spend the night with us tonight. I just tucked them in and can't stop smiling and laughing as I hear them laugh and talk to each other through the monitor. They are so close and love each other so much...it makes my heart happy! We played beads, played with toys, jumped on beds, had a dance party, ate lots of food, watched movies, and stayed up a little late:) I will have you know that they are probably, in my opinion, the most well behaved kiddos. Declan learns so much from watching his older cousins and they are certainly setting a great example, and they don't even know it! I'm so happy they want to come over here and spend time with us too! I hope that is something they will always want to do. I had so much fun with them tonight. It is nights like these that I feel very blessed and have so much to be thankful for!

Nesting Part I

My mom came over on Friday to help me organize our house. She really is freaking Super Woman! She started by organizing all of Declan's old clothes so we could pass them on to Nolan and Hudson. After that little project was finished, she reorganized the living room and Hudson's room with furniture she had gotten for us. The living room is finished, and Hudson's room is in the works. Then she began the huge task of organizing our closet and going through all of our clothes. I know you are probably thinking these are all things I cold have done myself. And you are right, but not the way my mom can do it. There is just something about a mom's touch and the best part is getting to spend time with her while we work (I did help a little). I'm so grateful to my mom and all she does for us. From the little things to the big things I appreciate it all!!! I LOVE this little house and I feel SO much better after getting those things completed! Can't wait for round 2! Thanks, Mom!!!

And of course Declan helped too! He can't get enough of his Cyn Cyn!!!

Love his outfit he put together:) "CHEESE!"

Happy Hallmark Day!

Not a big fan of Valentine's Day. We celebrate a little, but it is definitely not a big deal around here. I did get my boys a little something and cooked a yummy dinner and I got a nice bouquet of flowers, but that's it...and it was perfect. Love my boys so much my heart hurts! This was also my first year of doing valentines for Declan. I typically do them for my own class, but I did some for his class too. He liked looking at all of the valentines that he got from his friends...and of course the candy! Here are some pics of the "ladies man." I love the series of pictures below.

Take one. Not really that happy I'm snapping photos at 6:20 in the morning.

Pretty good!

"Cheese!" Screams it for every picture now.

His exact words..."Okay Mommy. That is enough already." He really is the funniest kid I know.

Nolan Gets Baptized and Peter Turns 40!

On Sunday we got together with my family to celebrate the above! This was the first time Declan had been to church and he loved it! It was a contemporary service so he was able to dance and sing his heart out! Jason and I enjoyed the service too, but Jason is definitely more traditional when it comes to worship, hence why we haven't found a church yet. We will keep looking. Anyway the day was not about us but our little nephew Nolan who was baptized. He seriously is the most perfect baby and was so cute during his baptism. He just smiled and cooed. He is so easy going! Love him so much and glad we could be with him and family on such an important and special day! We headed to lunch afterwards to celebrate which included Peter's bday! He turned the big 40 today (Valentines Day). Peter is on to a new business venture and I have a really good feeling he is going to have a great year! Happy bday, bro! Love you! I was not the best photographer, but here are some pics:)
