Declan's First Soccer Practice

Is there really anything cuter than 3 and 4 year olds learning soccer skills?! I think not! It is absolutely freaking adorable. I took Declan to his first practice along with Mead and Jason met us there. We loved watching Declan play! He did great and really seemed to enjoy it! So fun and so proud;)

Go Dec, go!!!

So stinking cute!!!

Mead is 9 Months Old!

We can't believe it either!!!
Weight: 22 lbs. 12 oz.
Height: 29 3/4 inches
Head: 18 3/4 inches
90-95% across the board! So happy we have a healthy baby!

He still has a cold and probably will until June:). His ear infection is gone, but he does have eczema. He is right where he should be developmentally! Yay! Always nice to hear! I love his little faces. He has developed quite the personality lately! One thing is for sure...he LOVES his big bro! He is cruising the furniture and standing for a second or two on his own. I want him to hold off on the walking! He is already into everything...I can only imagine!

We are so, so lucky!!!

My Sweet Kristin

We had a really bad weekend. My best friend Kristin had to see something that no one should have to see. Our friend took his life right in front of her. The story is way too long to tell and actually quite private. D was Kristin's best friend and a great friend to Jason. My heart hurts so badly for them. I cannot even imagine what two people that I care about deeply are going through. There are no words to fix it or make it better. I'm just here to listen and support them. Please say prayers for D, his wife, family, friends, Kristin and Jason. The world will be a little darker without his charming personality, amazing life stories, and a smile that was contagious! My heart is so heavy tonight. I wish I could take the pain away from my sweet Kristin. I cannot even imagine. Kristin, you are one of the strongest people I know. I'm here for you ALWAYS! I love you!

You Look Tired....

...that is because I am! Do not get me wrong...I would not change anything in my life, but I am tired. Being a working Mom is one of the hardest things ever. Jason has also started another business venture and is working late and 7 days a week. He helps when he is here, but that is not a lot lately.

I get up in the middle of the night with the boys, I get them ready in the morning, get myself ready, take them to school, work all day with the most amazing yet challenging children, attend meetings, run a book study, mentor teacher for the county, pick up the boys, run errands if needed, get home and play with the boys because I have missed them, make them dinner, make me and J dinner, play some more, bath, bedtime, get everything ready for the next day, make sure laundry is finished and the house is picked up and clean, wait for Jason to get home to spend some time with him, and then maybe a tv show and bedtime for us! Whew!

So, when I'm told I look tired...I am! It is the life of a working Mom, but I love it and it is my life! I also try and be the best wife and support my husband 110%.

I think dark circles are quite becoming on this face of mine;)

I mean really?! I don't think he can get any cuter!!!

Laundry basket fun!

Time to lower the crib! This little boy is WILD!

Mead loves his Daddy! They miss him when he works so hard!
