Fernbank

We went to Fernbank yesterday with the Cullinan's and my dad. It was SO much fun. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. Jason continues to amaze me with our boys. He was so good with them at the museum. Declan is extremely close with his Dad right now and I'm good with that. We had a blast!

I finally snapped a few pictures of my boys. These pictures make my heart happy. I have so much love for these two it feels like my heart is going to burst! Mead is still doing great and Declan is finally adjusting (knock on wood). He really is a big help and LOVES Mead...and is starting to like his parents again:) I'm trying to get used to this mom of two, but I absolutely love it! I am sleep deprived and worn out, but could not be happier!

My Dad

Happy Father's Day to my Dad! The most generous, selfless, and giving man on the planet! The world is a better place with you here. Thank you for being an incredible father and Pop! POW!!! I love you so incredibly much and I'm so grateful and appreciative for all you've taught me and done...and continue to do for me and my family!

Jason

Has been SUPER DAD! We have been through a lot the past couple of weeks, hell the past 9 months, but we made it through our first (almost) week of a family of four! I have had to rely on Jason a lot lately. I know, I know it is what he is supposed to do because he is the husband and father, but it still has not been easy. I have not been the most pleasant and it is really hard for me to try and recover and let everyone else take charge. He has definitely stepped up to the plate and has been amazing. He has been so great to me and our boys. I knew I picked a good one:). Watching him with our boys has definitely made me fall even more in love with him.

If I don't tell you enough, Honey, or bite your head off after you have worked hard all day, taken care of me and the boys...please remind me of this post and know how grateful I am to have you for a husband and appreciate all that you do for our family and how lucky the boys are to have you for their father. We love you so much!

Love,
Your Hormonal Wife

Happy Father's Day

Mr. Mead

And Then There Were Four....

Happy Birthday, Mead Douglas Wood! You were born on June, 13 2012. Here are your stats...7lb. 15oz. And 20.5 inches long with a head full of black hair! You could not be more perfect and you have completed our family. I fell in love with you immediately...we all did.

I'm not going to go into detail about m c-section. I survived and it was WAY better than last time, but it still sucked. It was completely worth it though. My recovery time was way faster too! Mead was born on Wednesday at 8:59 am and we were home Friday in time for lunch. My mom and Jason were there to support me and my sister kept Declan. It was so nice NOT to worry about him and focus on Mead.

So far he is a great baby, just like his big brother. He eats (very well), sleeps, poops and pees. Pretty uneventful, but he loves to cuddle and I'm enjoying every second.

Declan LOVES his baby brother, but has had a hard time adjusting. We have had a lot of behaviors. I know it will get better with time, but I want my sweet little boy back!

We are home and happy! Thank you for all of the messages, prayers, good thoughts, calls, gifts, and everything! We are very lucky and we know it! Can't wait for everyone to meet Mr. Mead!!!

Here are some pictures. We did a terrible job at the hospital of taking pics. Here are some of the BEST ones.

Seriously...I don't even have one of my husband holding his son? This is terrible! The other pictures I took barely came out. Please know at we had visitors and I DID take pictures. Mom fail...the first of many I'm sure. I will download the rest and send them out.
