29 Weeks!

I will be 29 weeks on Monday! That means 10 weeks to go! We will schedule the c-section when I get back from Spring Break. I passed the 3 hour glucose test. Everything came back normal. Yay! I had my thyroid levels checked yesterday...they are still low, so she upped my prescription again and we will check them again in 6 weeks. I'm SO excited to meet baby Mead!!!

Declan and I are headed to Fripp Island in the morning with my sister and all of the kids!!! It will definitely NOT be relaxing, but I can't wait! We have so much fun! Declan is going to have so much fun this year! It is also the last little trip with just the two of us:(. I'm very attached to Declan these days. He definitely has my heart!

We will miss Jason so much! He has to stay home and work, but I think he might enjoy the week alone;)

That is all for now! I will be sure to update with pics from our trip:)

Finally....

We finally made a decision on childcare for Declan and Mead!!! It was not easy, but I'm so glad it has been made. It is a huge weight off of my shoulders! They will be staying near my school at an in-home daycare. I really did not want to pull Declan from the school setting, but after meeting with Tina and seeing the set-up she has in her home, I knew it would be a perfect fit. She is a certified teacher, who follows a researched based curriculum, keeps/teaches a total of 6 kids (and that is not everyday), and Mead will be the only baby!!! It is almost to good to be true. I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful place for our boys.

I'm going to take Declan 1 or 2 days a week this summer to help him with the transition and to learn how to swim. She has a pool at her house and has a certified swim instructor come to her house to teach the kids! This is definitely something I wanted Declan to do this summer and it all kind of fell into place!

Happy Birthday, Coleton

One of our favorite friends turned 3! We were SO happy that we could celebrate his bday with him at Catch Air! It was such a fun party and so great to see everyone! I was busy catching up with everyone, so I slacked off on the pictures:(

It's official...

We have named this baby boy.....

Mead Douglas Wood

Yay! It has taken some time to agree on one, but we finally did. Mead is my mom's maiden name and we kept Douglas (after my uncle). Wanted something meaningful, original and one that we loved as much Declan and Mead is definitely it! Phew! I know Jason is glad the name game is over:).

Tomorrow begins the 3rd trimester! I go to the doctor on Tuesday for the glucose test and to check on little Mead. We are getting closer!!!

Planes!

We had a wonderful brunch today at the 57th Fighter restaurant today! It was a beautiful day to eat, drink, and watch the planes/jets take off! Declan is really into stuff like this right now, so he had a blast! We also got to see a squadron of military helicopters take off. It was very cool! Another fun and beautiful day with my boys!!!

So cool!

All 7 of them!

Taking it all in!

Green!

My parents made it safely back from South Africa and had us over on Saturday. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a traditional Irish meal and family fun!

Enjoying The Weather...and Each Other

We definitely took advantage of the weather this weekend! Declan had a bday party at a park, then we played in the new sandbox and of course we had to go to the park, play on the playground, feed the geese, and eat lunch outside. I have spring fever majorly! We are also spending as much time as a family of 3 and spoiling Declan rotten before his baby brother gets here. I will have him at 39 weeks (if I do not go earlier), so he will be here in 3 months! Wow! We can't wait for his arrival! We have lots to do in those 3 months!

Sandbox!!!

My father-in-law and Jason spent half of this past Saturday clearing out our yard and building Declan a sandbox! It looks amazing! I wish I had taken before and after pictures. They have a few other ideas to make our backyard even better! One project at a time though:) They worked so hard and the look on Declan's face was priceless!!! He played in it all weekend! Thank you Daddy and Grandpa!

The Hunger Games

I had the privilege of being the onset tutor for Amandla Stenberg, who plays Rue in The movie The Hunger Games this week. I started off tutoring from 8-11 at the Four Seasons in Atlanta, followed by a round table press conference there, then we headed to CNN for more interviews, on to Lenox mall for an autograph signing, and finally a red carpet arrival to a Q & A with 700+ fans! Anyone who thinks these kids don't work are dead wrong. They have long days and work very hard.

I also got to spend the day with some of the other actors...Jack Quaid (Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid's son), Leven Rambin (McSteamy's daughter that has a baby on Grey's Anatomy), Dayo Okeniyi, and Liam Hemsworth (Miley Cyrus' hot Austrailian boyfriend) along with Amandla. Let me just say that these 5 actors are probably 5 of the most down to earth, normal, smart, and humble young adults ever. They made the day so much fun. It was very cool to be a part of such a big event. Amandla and her mother were so kind and gracious and I loved spending the day with them. It was an exhausting, yet fun day!

I will definitely be reading the book and will have to see the movie as well now!!!

I would also like to give a big shout out to my friend Carolyn who hired me! I do not know how she does it all! She is amazing! It seems like such a fun job, but it is a ton of work and very stressful. I admire her so much!!!

Amandla, Dayo, Jack, Leven, and Liam (yes, yes...I'm on a first name basis with them, ha ha)

Me and Amandla

:(

Look at this face:(. Declan was pushing his dump truck up the hill and fell flat on his face! OUCH! It is hard not to panic when you see so much blood! He barely cried and only wanted to make sure that I did not forget his tractors! What will I do if something major ever happens?! I better get used to it...a life with boys and I'm sure many more injuries to come! His lip is huge and a scratch under his nose...not sure about the teeth yet. Poor little guy!

Fun With Tractors!

I haven't been playing around with my camera too much, so I wanted to play around with it yesterday. Grandpa just gave Declan some new trucks to play with and he loves them!!!
