Back to Work...

I had the BEST break! I love that my job allows me to spend so much time with my boys. I get just enough of being a stay at home Mom and then I'm ready to get back to it! I miss my students when I'm not with them too. The week long breaks are always hard for them.

We had a wonderful break! I took Declan to his first movie (Wreck it Ralph) in 3d and we spent the day together. It was so nice to spend time with my big boy! I enjoyed just being at home with them and seeing friends and family!

It is going to be hard to leave these faces tomorrow!

Man Stuff

Declan took Jason to see Grandpa and Uncle Chris to do "man stuff" (as they like to call it) on Saturday! Declan loves it! He tells me how hard he worked! It is something he really looks forward to with his Dad! I love that they spend that time together! It is nice for me to have a break too:)

Success!

This was my first time hosting Thanksgiving dinner at our house and it was a success. My mom did the turkey, but I did all of the sides. It was such a nice night! We missed the Cullinans of course, but we had a wonderful time! I was happy to do it too! It made me happy that my mom did not have to cook or clean up and could relax after all she does for us! Well, and if mom is happy, we all are:). Jason made a wonderful fire after dinner and we let the food settle, drinks flow, and counted our many blessings. This was probably one of my most favorite Thanksgivings ever:)

Thanksgiving 2012

I'm so thankful for so many things everyday, but today especially because that is what the holiday is for! I'm thankful for our health, our family, friends, a beautiful home, my students past and present, and a job that I love! I'm extra thankful for Mead who has completed our family and can enjoy the holiday with us. So much to be thankful for!










I am so thankful for moments like this! Family time with my boys! I have the most wonderful husband and father to our boys. He is absolutely amazing and could not be more thankful for this man! I'm so in love with these two little boys and so thankful for their health and incredible personalities!

Happy Thanksgiving to our friends and family! We are very thankful for you all!!!

Now that everyone is feeling better we finally made it over to the Nau's for a play date and so I could love on Emerson! It is so fun to watch our kids play and grow up together! Kendra looks amazing and is doing a great job with two! She is such a great Mommy! We were both talking about how easy it was with one and why did we ever complain! Ha!

Rollin' Around

Mead is rolling around all of the house. Declan will usually yell to me his location from the other room. He often ends up under the table and is so proud and thinks it's hilarious:)

11/13/12 Mead is 5 Months

Mead is 5 months! Really?! It is happening wayyyyyy too fast again! My sweet friend Morgan made this onesie! Isn't it adorable?! Thanks Morgan! Happy 5 months to the happiest baby on the planet!!!

S'MORES=FAIL

My parents came over on Sunday to grill out! I bought s'mores thinking Declan would love them. Wrong! He did not like the "dirty" marshmallow. It was worth a try. It was a fun night with our family as usual:)

First Cold

Mead has his first cold and it has been rough. I'm definitely glad he is feeling better and heading back to work tomorrow! He has been so sick, but so happy! I love this baby SO much!

Like it or not we our children are being raised in a world full of technology! Not only do I use it all day long in my classroom, but the boys love it too! Declan could navigate an iPhone and iPad at 2...I can only imagine what Mead will do!

Sorry for all of the grammar and misspellings in my blog. Just to let you know I typically write them after a long day or a couple...few glasses of wine. I do try to proofread, but it is a pain to go back in and edit them! So...please forgive me! I'm an excellent speller and have pretty good grammar, yet an awful vocabulary:). I apologize! Maybe my mom should proofread my posts like my English papers?! What do you think, Mom?!

Milestones At The Wood House

We have a baby that has his first nasty cold, but has started sleeping through the night! Have you ever sen a baby that has a snot nose, terrible cough, an upset stomach yet is still smiling?! If you haven't come visit us! I have one happy, sick, and cuddly baby on my hands! He has been getting up, but just coughing and cooing and going back to bed! hope it continues...the sleeping, not the sick part. Mead also has mastered the tripod sitting position! Not too shabby for our 4 1/2 month old. He is so aware and is ready to move. He is wearing 6-9 month clothes, size 3 diapers and loves oatmeal and rice cereal, but hates baby food! He screamed bloody murder when trying bananas...not quite ready so we will hold off!


In other news...Declan is potty trained! Yep! Underwear during the day and pull up at night! Apparently he just needed to do it on his own time! So proud of him and glad it was before the age of 4! 2 in diapers is not cheap!

I got to spend election day with my boys today! I live them so incredibly much. We didn't get to do much since Mead was sick, so lots of cuddling. That was just fine for me:)



I swear he is sick! He was just boogie wiped!
